On Thursday, November 1st, please join your Social Issues Session facilitators and classmates bright and early in the West end of the Safeway Grocery Store parking lot on the corner of Pine and Cypress at 7:30 a.m. We will begin our day together promptly at 7:30 so please don’t be late! This session is one in which we ask you to dress down for the day - wear comfortable walking shoes, jeans, and warm clothing if needed based on the weather. This will be a very informative and interactive session as we learn how the social service agencies combat the many social issues people face in our community. From Safeway we will travel to the Shasta Family YMCA to start out our morning. Carpooling will be encouraged for the day. This is a great session to begin the process in identifying where your efforts in a class project can be directed and one that you will not want to miss!!
