The Leadership
Redding Health Care Session will begin with a continental
breakfast at 7:30 at Mercy Medical Center, lower level,
Auditorium A. We will have an opportunity to hear from hospital
administrators, and receive a general overview of healthcare in Shasta
County, including cardiac services, healthcare quality
improvement, and information from an infections control employee
health nurse on
Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA). For
lunch we will meet at Shasta College Health Sciences Bldg,
Downtown, 2nd Floor, Room 8220. Dress is business casual. Lunch
is planned and if you cannot make this session, please let

Directions:
A.M. Session:
Due to limited
parking at the Mercy Medical Center, we ask that all session
attendees park at Benton Airpark (on Airpark Dr. off of Placer
St.) and take the Mercy Shuttle to the hospital. Shuttles will
begin picking up at 7:15 a.m. and will run approximately every
10-15 minutes after that. Jodi (Steering Committee Member) will
also be shuttling class members (in white
Prius)
from Benton Airpark to the hospital. Out of consideration
of the hospital administration (one of the LR session
sponsors and program underwriters), we ask that you honor this
request. Shuttles run to/from Benton throughout the day, so
if you have an unavoidable need to leave the a.m. portion of the
session, you will have transportation back to your vehicle.

Center:
This beautiful new facility is located in Downtown Redding
adjacent to the old mall. The address is1400 Market
Street, and we will be in Room 8220 (2nd floor). There is
ample parking in the parking structure behind this building.
