Government and Planning

 

The Leadership Redding Government and Planning Session will begin with a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m., on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the Redding Civic Center Community Room.  The session will start promptly at 8:00 a.m.  For the first part of the day, we will have presentations from individuals serving different aspects of Local Government.  After lunch, the class will move to the new Redding Library for the second half of the day.  This second part will include presentations regarding Planning for our region.  Be prepared as you will be introduced to many new aspects of our community that will be new to you. 

 

Lunch will be catered by San Francisco Deli; if you cannot attend the session, please let Andrea know right away.

Location:    Redding Civic Center Community Room  and the Redding Library

Directions:

A.M. Session:

The Redding Civic Center Community Room is located at 777 Cypress Avenue.  This room is located in the same building as the council chambers.  There is parking in the back lot, off of Parkview Avenue, as well as in the main lot off of Cypress Avenue.

 

P.M. Session:
The Shasta County Redding Library is located at 1100 Parkview Avenue.
This beautiful new facility is located near the Redding Civic Center and parking can be accessed off of Cypress Avenue or Parkview Avenue.
