Principal for a Day

Shasta County Office of Education would like to give business and community leaders the opportunity to participate in the 15th annual Principal for a Day (PFAD). PFAD is designed to provide business and community leaders the opportunity to gain a hands-on perspective of the many challenges facing public education today.

Their goal over the years has been to involve business and community leaders who have operational responsibilities, access to resources, and work place expertise. As the PFAD has progressed, schools have gained valuable insights, management ideas, and technical resources brought from their respective places of business.

 

Date:  Tuesday, March 20, 2007, Riverview Country Club  7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Kick-Off Breakfast--Business Leaders and  School Administrators gather for introductions

Thursday, March 22, 2007, Principal for a Day--all day Business Leaders join School Administrators at school sites for the day
